One thing at a time

One thing at a time is a solo performance.
The stage is a claustrophobic room that sometimes feels like a home and sometimes transforms into an imagined space, where time shifts and connections emerge in ways that are both random and meaningful.
Inside this space, a woman searches for a single, coherent thought, while her body pulls her between shifting sensations, emotions, and imagined conversations with invented characters. Through changing costumes, identities, and transformations inspired by feminine figures she longs to become, she loses herself within the endless movement of her own thoughts.
The work moves between simple everyday actions - brushing teeth, putting on shoes, getting dressed - and psychotic landscapes where the body breaks apart and rebuilds itself through a metamorphosis of form, material, and sensation.
This work is financially supported by the Artist Scholarship awarded by the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (MV), Germany.
