Times that never were

2024

Duet choreography In collaboration with the Dancers: Almog Adler, Gianmaria Girotto.

“Times That Never Were” unfolds within a surreal domestic world, free from concrete or linear time. The dancers shape one another, as if all their encounters are compressed into a single experience, embodying every potential past and future meeting. The work explores how we are shaped not only by the lives we have lived, but also by our fantasies and projections. Like the dancers, the objects continuously shift in meaning.

Within this shifting landscape, the dancers approach, resist, mirror, and transform one another, as if every possible version of their relationship exists simultaneously. Each gesture leaves a trace that shapes the next, and the duet unfolds through invented memories, where fiction and reality can no longer be separated.
